Introduction to our Church

Victory Baptist Church Pastor Steven D. Swords

Victory Baptist Church “Where everybody is somebody, and Jesus Christ is Lord of All.” Our fellowship is a testimony to Jesus’ love for us. Our return love for others in a manner where everyone feels welcome.

We strive to be a very warm and loving body of believers. The goal is to worship and serve God through Jesus Christ. Our body strives to celebrate life in Jesus Christ. Through worship, praise, and fellowship. We want to equip the saints so that in His name we offer the assurance of salvation. This is done through the community, the nation, and our world.

The church’s desire is to be a church that is really making a difference. In the lives of people who have become part of our family. The community where we work to improve the quality of life and care. In our world, through worship, missions and service. Our program and ministries all flow from our Vision Statement. We aim. to demonstrate to those outside of Victory Baptist Church. A place of relevance, care and supernatural power!

It is our desire that our buildings and resources be used to bring glory to God. Encouragement to His people and to minister to the community.

Victory Baptist Church welcomes you to our services and ministries. Please accept our invitation to join Victory Baptist Church in reaching the lost for Jesus’ sake. Your ministry is needed to bring someone into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Join us as we minister to our community and through the cooperative program, people around the world.
Christ is proclaimed as Lord!

Victory Baptist has chosen four central goals for our church.

  1. They are first, an active and alive prayer ministry.
  2. Second, Victory Baptist Church is about the great commission. “Jesus came and spake to them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
  3. Thirdly, we have coveted to “develop the saved” through training, fellowship and worship opportunities.
  4. Our fourth goal is to minister to the “special needs” of our community.

As you can see, we have our work cut out for us. Victory Baptist Church believes that every believer in Jesus is set apart for ministry. The ministry can only be successful when led by the Holy Spirit. We are seeing spiritual success in our church by Jesus calling out men and women to minister!
